“Again Vasantha Maligai in big screen”
After the success of the Sivaji Ganesan’s Karnan re-release, his Vasantha Maligai is getting re-released by this Friday. This film has been restored digitally to view the movie in pure digital quality.
Vasantha Maligai was released in 1972. It was directed by K.S. Prakash Rao. It is a remake of the hit Telugu film, Prem Nagar. This movie ran for nearly 750 days in the theatres and Sivaji Ganesan and Vanisri were both praised well for their acting. Vasantha Maligai was one of the biggest blockbuster of Ganesan and it held the record of running the highest Continous House Full Shows in Madras. Vasantha Maligai had a remarkable 271 Continous House Full Shows in all the three release theaters Shanthi, Crown and Bhuvaneswari.
