In this Film directed and written by A.R.Murugadas. Kalaipuli S.Dhanu as a producer and music was composed by Harris Jayaraj. Vijay represent prominent role as an encounter specialist. Kajal Aggarwal is a heroine and Vidyut Jamwal, Jayaram, Sathyan also acting in this film. Santhosh Sivan is a camera man and A.Sreekarprasad as an editor.

In this film Vijay is appearing in a different style. Vijay met the accident during the shooting period and he is taking the treatment in London. “Nanban” is a last Vijay film. In this film Vijay played the role as student and sentimental role. But in “Thuppakki” Vijay plays different character than “Nanban”.
