Srilankan Tamil girl got international Film award.......

‘physical imparity is not a barrier to the betterment’ , this is the theme of this short film “Regrets”. A speaking  impaired father supported and help his son to win the first prize in speech competition. One channel gets interview from that boy and he reveals how he could achieve this prize. A lady watched this program in tv and find that father was her Ex. Lover. In flashback the director picturized that lady refused his love because of his imparity.

The sequence of this film is excellent. This story happens in two periods but without any confusion the director ordered the sequence.
Another thing we should encourage and appreciate is the Director of this film is a female from Trincomalee campus of Eastern University and her Native place is Jaffna.
She got “fidel goetz emerging film director” award in the international Inigo film festival – Spain.
