There are many televisions channels in Sri Lanka. Rupavahini (SLRC) is also one of the national television channel. It  produces and telecast many programs in three languages (Tamil, English and Sinhala). Nethra TV and NTV are sister channels of this SLRC. These channels produce and broadcast many programmes. teledrama also one of that programmes.
In this way last few days SLRC shoot one of the tele drama 's scenes in Jaffna. That tele drama is called as “Chithiram”.It was directed by Konesh. There are many artists act in this teledrama. this  story revolves around the jaffna .
