Karthi is acting 'Saguni' releasing yesterday in maximum number of theatres in Tamil Nadu. The lesser known thing is that the Karthi Sivakumar starer's Telugu version will storm a whopping number of 450 cinema halls in Andhra Pradesh. Karthi enjoys huge fan following in Andhra and all his earlier films since, which were dubbed and released there hits. Saguni was simultaneously made in Telugu also, sources say."This first straight Telugu film of Karthi will be released in more than 450 theatres in Andhra. Expectations are running successfully on the movie and it sold for a very good price," they add.
Directed by newcomer Dayal, the film has music by G V Prakash. Pranitha of 'Udhayan' fame is the heroine. A comical sattire, 'Saguni' is enjoying a solo release in Tamil Nadu this week.
