Director Shankar......................


Tamil film industry has many directors and they are producing many popular films and won number of awards.


 Such a way Shankar is a one of the famous and popular director in the Tamil film industry.

Shankar is a south Indian Tamil film director and who directing in several Tamil films. Not only film director but also he is a producer and screen writer also. He was born on August 17, 1963 in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, Chennai. He did a diploma in Mechanical engineering.
He started to work in film industry as an assistant director. He started his film career as a director in the Gentleman Tamil film. In this film he got two awards. Those awards are Film fare Award (best director) and Tamil Nadu State Award (best director).
Kadhalan is his second film. It is a romantic and action film. This film also won best film director award. He directed many films. Those are,

His “Enthiran” film is a most expensive Indian film. This film got marvellous victim and earned more money in an International level. In this film Rajani acted main role as a scientist and Roboo.

5.     Vijay award for favourite director (Enthiran)
6.     NDTV Indian of the year award (Enthiran)
Most of the Shankar’s films are high budget. His films are representing audience expectations and win many awards.
